We’re a referral service, not a garage door company
Newcastle Garage Door Repairs (newcastlegaragedoorrepairs.com) is a free referral service run by Vertial Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 72 629 494 926). We’re not a garage door company. We don’t repair, service or install garage doors or openers, and we don’t employ technicians. We’re not a garage door manufacturer or dealer, and we’re not connected with any garage door business that has a similar name.
When you call us or send the form, we take down your enquiry. If you agree, we pass it to one independent garage door business that works in your area. That business contacts you, quotes, and does the work. Your contract for the work is with that business.
How we’re paid
Garage door businesses pay us for the enquiries we send them. That can be a fee for each enquiry, or a monthly fee to receive the enquiries for an area. You don’t pay us anything, and the business’s price to you is its own.
Because we’re paid by the businesses we refer to, we have a commercial relationship with them. We don’t receive any payment that depends on what you decide to buy.
What we don’t claim about the businesses
Garage door work isn’t licensed building work in NSW: the Home Building Act excludes installing or maintaining a garage door from residential building work (Home Building Act 1989, Sch 1 cl 2(3)(l)). So we don’t say that any business we refer to is licensed, and we make no claim about any business’s insurance. Ask the business about its insurance, and get a written quote before work starts.
Electrical wiring work is different. A new power point for an opener must be done by a licensed electrician (NSW Government).
Our phone line
Calls to our number are answered by a virtual assistant, not a person, and calls are recorded. The assistant tells you this at the start of the call. It takes your details and asks whether you agree to us passing them to a local garage door business. It doesn’t give prices or arrival times.
The information on this site
The information on this site is general. Where we state a rule or a fact, we link to the source. We don’t publish prices. A garage door business should look at your door, and your door’s manual comes first for your model.

If this site ever sends all enquiries to one named business, we’ll show that business’s name and ABN on every page.
